Bob is a 12-year former U.S. government civilian, having served with U.S. Army Missile Command (MICOM), now consolidated AMCOM, headquartered at Redstone Arsenal, AL. During his government tenure, he spent 1991-1993 with the U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command (SMDC) on Kwajalein (USAKA) performing IT and postal operations functions at the U.S. Army Post Office. Since departing government work, Bob escalated his career in IT in the private sector (Electronic Data Systems, Hewlett-Packard), focusing on Web and Digital Marketing Technologies as well as Project Management. His background was a perfect fit for the Kwajalein MIA Project as the first Webmaster and Digital Consultant for the project website and advising on our other online properties and IT functions. Bob's family military history (father and grandfather being Army retirees), and the appreciation of his tour on Kwaj, drive his devotion to making the Kwajalein MIA Project as successful as possible.
